Method of treatment is one of most significant differences between homoeopathy and allopathy. Homoeopathy focuses on enhancing body's response to condition while allopathy treats illnesses with medications and occasionally surgery. Homoeopathy is considered antithesis of allopathy since, unlike allopathy, it uses little amounts of diluted chemicals and operates on idea that "what caused problem in first place is also solution for treatment."

No, BHMS doctors only learn homeopathy.

BHMS doctors can't do big surgeries like MBBS doctors. They follow homeopathy rules and sometimes use small procedures with homeopathic medicine if needed.

Candidates with a Class 12 Diploma may take a clearance exam for entry-level positions, such as the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET). To be accepted into a homoeopathy college for a graduate degree like the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS), you must ace this exam, which is quite tough.

Candidates may also select postgraduate homoeopathic courses if they so wish.

No, a Homeopathy course is not equal to an MBBS degree. MBBS is a traditional medical degree focused on allopathic medicine, which involves the use of conventional treatments, surgeries, and pharmaceuticals. On the other hand, a Homeopathy course focuses on homeopathic medicine, which is based on using highly diluted substances to stimulate the body's natural healing processes.

Candidates can check the table below to see the comparison between the two courses.

On average, a BHMS doctor starting out in their career might earn anywhere from INR 20,000 to INR 40,000 per month. With experience and expertise, this salary can increase significantly.

Further, the salary of a BHMS doctor in India can vary depending on various factors such as the doctor's experience, location of practice, type of employment (private practice, hospital, government job, etc.), and the demand for Homeopathic services in that particular area.
