Bihar B.Ed CET

The Bihar BEd CET 2026 registration dates will probably be in April end. Candidates will have to submit the application form till the last date, with late fee, they can submit the application form till May first week. Candidates who successfully submit the application form will be issued the admit card of Bihar BEd CET 2026 to appear in the exam which will be held in May.

Candidates will have to submit their application form during this period.

Bihar B.Ed CET 2023 application forms were available on the official website of the exam. Candidates were required to pay INR 1,000 (INR 750 for differently-abled/EBC/BC/Women/EWS and INR 500 for SC/ST) as the application fee for the exam.

Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by the exam cionducting body Lalit Naryan Murhti University, Darbhanga were eligibile to fill the Bihar BEd CET application form 2026. As per the official notification PDF, candidates need to have a minimum Bachelor's degree with atleast 50% minimum to apply for the Bihar BEd CET 2026 exam.

The Bihar B.Ed CET is an annual exam which is conducted by the Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga (LNMU). The purpose of the Bihar BEd CET is to shortlist candidates for BEd Courses offered by government universities and schools in the state of Bihar. Candidates qualifying in the Bihar BEd CET 2026 exam will have to appear in the counselling process post which they will be allotted the courses as per their merit and choice filling.

As mentioned in the notification and taking reference from past year stats, there are a total of 15 universities which participate in the Bihar B.Ed CET. These universities accept exam scores for admission into the B.Ed programmes. Candidates who qualify in the Bihar BEd CET entrance test will be eligible to pursue their BEd courses from any of these government universities or colleges depending upon their merit, choice filling and counselling process.

The Bihar B.Ed CET exam consists of 5 sections. Each section contains objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) questions. There is a total of 120 questions in the exam with each question having four choices of answers. Candidates have to select the most appropriate answer and mark them in the Bihar B.Ed CET OMR sheet given during the paper. It may be noted that candidates can mark their answers with black/blue colour pen only. The total weightage of the Bihar B.Ed CET paper is 120 marks.
