Biotechnology

Chettinad Academy of Research and Education BSc in Medical Biotechnology curriculum is divided into six semesters. The curriculum includes various core and elective subjects. A list of some of these subjects is presented in the table below:

Jaipur National University offers several elective subjects under the BTech in Biotechnology curriculum. Moreover, candidates have leisure to select the elective subjects as per their choice and interests. These elective subjects are offered in every semester of the course. The names of some of the offered elective subjects are as follows: 

• Image Processing & Pattern Recognition
• Advances in Biomedical Engineering
• Rehabilitation Engineering
• Medical Imaging Lab
• Matlab programming for bioengineering analysis
• Industrial Practical Training & Seminar Lab, etc. 

Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College does not conduct its own private entrance exam for admission to the M.Sc Biotechnology program. Admission to M.Sc Biotechnology is based on merit in the qualifying B.Sc degree examination, as per the rules and regulations of the University of Mumbai

• For M.Sc in Bioanalytical Sciences  (a different specialization), the college conducts its own entrance exam, but this does not apply to M.Sc Biotechnology.

• The final merit list for M.Sc Biotechnology is prepared based on marks obtained in the last qualifying degree and is subject to the University of Mumbai's guidelines
