I am not so aware about ALLMS. Biotechnology is a field of applied biology that involves the use of living organisms and bioprocesses in engineering, technology, medicine and other fields requiring bio products. It aims to deliver high quality courses with strong vocational elements and professional skills development embedded across the curriculum. My brother has done M.Sc. (Hons. ). Biotechnology from Lovely Professional University. He is currently working with Glaxo and this was his campus placement, he always keeps on praising LPU. Eligiblity of this course is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (Applied Medical Science or Medical Science or relevant discipline. Few of the major features of this course are :
1. Research based subjects such as workshop on instrumentation, scientific writing and ethics help students to build research aptitude.
2. Subject in areas of Cloning, Fermentation Technology and Molecular Biotechnology provide students with the advance knowledge and emerging trends in these areas.
3. Dissertation courses split in 3 different semesters are incorporated in the curriculum to provide research and hands on experience to students in problem identification, laboratory work, data analysis and interpretation.
4. Participation in national and international level conferences and workshops help in the holistic development of students with scientific competence.

8. In LPU the Academic tasks such Class Participation, Design Problem, Term Paper, Assignment, Live examples, AV-aids. Test and Quiz based on various competitive examinations. Case studies on Current research scenario.
9. LPU students undertake Research projects in collaboration with national laboratories of India (NIPGR, New Delhi; CPRI, Shimla; NRCE, Hisar; IIWBR, Karnal; NIEBE, Kpurthala), Live projects for undergraduate students.
