Yes, UoB is a very good university for research. It has educated several Nobel Prize winners. UoB researchers took part in the experiments at the CERN Super Collider. This led to the discovery of the Higgs Boson.

Yes, the University of Birmingham City offers a wide range of student clubs and organizations. These organizations are based on media, academic, culture, liberation societies, active performance, sports and adopt. Some of them are accounting society, architecture society, BCU car club, bollywood society, business and enterprise society and many more. These clubs and organisations are a great source of building skills, connecting with new people, teamwork, etc. Students can join any of these based on their interests and preferences.

Majority of the University of Birmingham students are known to live as part of the residence halls based in Edgbaston & Selly Oak, in large part due to the close proximity of these halls to the university campus.
The university campus offers over 7,500 residential spaces to students as part of its townhouses.

Yes, Birmingham can be considered an ideal place to study for international students, thanks to the presence of its world class academic infrastructure that includes two of the best universities in the UK: University of Birmingham & Birmingham City University.
The city is full of international students & there are a number of places to hang out at over the weekend including: Cadbury World, Library of Birmingham, Symphony Hall, Villa Park & Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.

No, shuttle services are not available to placed students, & they are required to use the world class public transport network of the Birmingham & West Midlands region.
Students can also visit their working locations via their own car, provided they have the right insurance for it.

Yes, IELTS is a mandatory requirement for international students, seeking to purse higher education at the University of Birmingham.
The institute requires its students to have a decent grasp of verbal & written English for a smooth transition to new surroundings, & accepts IELTS, TOEFL & PTE among some other language test scores as a valid proof of the same.

The University of Birmingham Nursing school application fee for graduate students is around GBP 50 (INR 5.8 K).
The same for undergraduates' ranges between GBP 22.5-27 (INR 2.6 K-INR 3.1 K).
The fee is non-refundable & is to be paid as part of the application process of the institute. The application without the same cannot be processed further by the institute.
