According to some past reports, records and information available online it can be concluded that BITS Pilani boasts a very high placement rate, typically exceeding 90% for most programs. But BITS Pilani doesn't guarantee 100% placement for all its students.

BITS Pilani BTech placements for the batch of 2023 were very impressive. The average package offered was INR 30.37 LPA and the highest package was INR 60.75 LPA. A total of 109 recruiters visited the campus and offered 329 full-time offers and 287 pre-placement offers to the students. Some of the top recruiters were Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Visa, Adobe, and Cisco. The placements were conducted for various branches such as IT, Non-Tech, Electronics, Core, and Others.

BITS Pilani campus is very good in placements and is comparable to some of the IIT's. BITS Pilani placements are good than IIT Kanpur or IIT Kharagpur but IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay are ahead of BITS Pilani in terms of placements.
According to the institute strong alumni networks, BITS Pilani and IITs are able to place students in prominent companies on campus. For top posts, BITS Pilani and IITs typically provide very high average packages, frequently surpassing 20 LPA. These institutes also have a very high placement rate, with the majority of their graduates landing jobs at prestigious corporations.

The median package offered during BITS Pilani placements for the 2023 batch stood at INR 30 LPA. Further, the overall average package recorded during BITS Pilani placements 2023 stood at INR 30.37 LPA. Apart from this, the highest package offered till August 2022 during BITS Pilani placements 2023 stood at INR 60.75 LPA. A total of 109 companies visited the campus during BITS Pilani placements 2023.

BITS Pilani has not released the 2023 course-wise placements data for 2023. However, as per the media reports, BITS Pilani campuses have recorded a rise of 32.62% in the median salary during the placements drive for the 2023 batch. The placements are going on for the batch passing out in 2024. As per the latest report, the highest and average package offered to the MBA (Business Analytics) batch 2024 so far stood at INR 27 LPA and INR 17.36 LPA.

As per the latest research on external sources, we have found that BITS Pilani alumni are placed in top national and multinational companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, EY, KPMG, etc. They work in various sectors such as Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Sales and more. Of all the sectors, 36% of alumni work in the Engineering sector. Additionally, 12% and 11% of alumni work in the IT and Business Development sectors. The detailed sector-wise alumni placement record is shown below:
