Yes. The students should attempt BITSAT mock test so that they are able to understand the exam pattern well. Mock tests will also help the students to know the high weightage topics and recurring questions. Another advantage of the mock test is that the students can boost their time management skills and be well prepared for the exam.

To prepare the timetable for BITSAT preparation, the students should first refer to the syllabus to know which subjects and topics have to be studied. The topics have to be carefully divided in their regular study timetable, so that the syllabus is covered before the exam. Daily revision and mock tests should be included. Students should plan the timetable as per their aptitude.

The level of the BITSAT syllabus will be similar to the 11^th and 12^th standard qualifying examination. Students should carefully check the syllabus and prepare according to the topics and units that are mentioned. The syllabus will assess the aptitude of the students.

BITS Pilani has not yet announced any information regarding the revision of the BITSAT 2026 syllabus. However, if any changes are made, the details will be announced official at the website. Students are advised to refer to the previous year's syllabus for now, to prepare for the upcoming examination.

For BITSAT, the students will have to study topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning. The syllabus will assess the aptitude of the students in the given subjects so they are asked to review them carefully while preparing for the exam.

In the BITSAT exam, the students will have to attempt a total of 130 objective multiple-choice questions. Each question will have four options, and the correct one has to be selected. If all questions are attempted before the given duration, then an additional 12 questions will be given to the students to solve for extra marks.

Yes. The students will be negatively marked if they answer incorrectly in the BITSAT exam. For every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. Therefore, the students are advised to carefully check and attempt the questions, only if they are sure of the answer.

The students will be given 3 hours to complete their BITSAT exam. No extra time will be allotted to the students to complete their paper. All 130 questions have to be answered within the given time, and if there is still some time left then the students will be able to allowed to attempt 12 additional questions.

Students will have to upload their scanned passport-size photograph and signature in the BITSAT application form. The documents have to be scanned and sized according to the specifications that are mentioned by the authorities. If the documents are not scanned correctly, it will be not uploaded in the form.

While filling the application form, the students will have to pay the required fee. The BITSAT application fee is different for each category and the number of sessions that the students are going to attempt. For male students, the application fee is INR 3500 (1^ST session) and INR 5,500 (both sessions). Female students have to pay INR 3000 (1^st session) and INR 4,500 (both session).
