BITSAT

Students will be able to check their BITSAT exam details through the hall ticket. The information regarding the allotted exam centre, slot and more will be available in the admit card. Students should check the details carefully so that they know where they are supposed to report for the entrance exam.

If students log in late to complete BITSAT slot booking, then there are chances that preferred slots are filled up and unavailable. Students should login and complete slot booking as soon as possible.

BITSAT slot booking facility will be available separately for two exam sessions. Students can apply for both sessions, but they will have to complete slot booking separately. Once they are logged in, preferred slots available at their exam centre has to be selected and submitted.

Students should practice with mock tests and sample papers to build their time management skills. Official exam duration should be followed while practicing with mock tests.

During final days before BITSAT exam, students should focus on chapters which they have already studied. New concepts and chapters should be avoided. Students should strengthen topics they have already prepared. Mock tests and revisions should be given more importance.

During BITSAT preparation, students should check official syllabus. Through syllabus, they can know topics to study for exam. Knowing syllabus will help them to prepare a study plan so that they can score well in exam.

Since the level of the BITSAT syllabus is similar to the 11^th and 12^th standard qualifying exam, the students are advised to prepare for the exam with their NCERT books. Through the NCERT books, the students will be able to understand the subjects and their topics well. However, other books should also be referred to have a more conceptual understanding.

Students will not be given any extra time to complete 12 additional questions in BITSAT paper. Additional questions have to be solved within 3 hours. These will only be provided if students complete 130 original questions before exam ends.

Students will be given 12 additional questions if they finish all 130 questions within 3 hours. Three questions will be available from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and Logical Reasoning. Students will not be able to go back to previously answered 130 questions, once they start solving additional questions.

According to BITSAT exam pattern, every correct answer will be given 3 marks. Maximum marks for BITSAT is 390. For every wrong answer, one mark will be cut. Since there is negative marking, students should be careful while selecting questions to answer.
