To boost time management skills to finish the BITSAT paper in advance and to attempt the additional questions, the students should practice with mock tests and sample papers. By practicing the mock tests with the official exam duration, the students will be able to learn how to allot their time for each section and questions.

During the final days before the BITSAT exam, the students are advised to focus on the chapters which they have already studied. New concepts and chapters should be avoided. Students should strengthen the topics they have already prepared. Mock tests and revisions should be given more importance.

Yes, the BITSAT syllabus is important for the preparation process. Students should know the syllabus well since it will help them to plan out their study strategy. Being familiar with the syllabus will also allow the students to know which topics and units have to be prepared for the exam. This will help the students have a good preparation plan.

Since the level of the BITSAT syllabus is similar to the 11th and 12th standard qualifying exam, the students are advised to prepare for the exam with their NCERT books. Through the NCERT books, the students will be able to understand the subjects and their topics well. However, other books should also be referred to have a more conceptual understanding.

No. The students will not be given any extra time to complete the 12 additional questions in the BITSAT paper. These questions have to be solved within the 3 hour duration of the examination. The additional questions will only be provided if the students complete the 130 original questions before the end of the exam.

If the students can attempt all 130 questions in less than 3 hours, then they will be given 12 additional questions to solve within the remaining time. From each section i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and Logical Reasoning, 3 questions will be available. Students will not be able to go back to the previously attempted 130 questions, once they start solving the additional questions.

According to the official BITSAT exam pattern, every correct answer will be given 3 marks. The maximum marks for BITSAT is 390. However, for every wrong answer, the authorities will deduct one mark. Since there is negative marking, the students are advised to be careful while selecting the questions to answer.

No, the students will not be able to correct all of their submitted details through the BITSAT application correction facility. Out of all details, the students cannot edit their gender, email ID and mobile number. While filling out these information in the application form, the students should carefully revise them before submitting it.
