No, it is not necessary for students to have studied the Humanities stream to pursue the BMM programme. Students with good verbal and written communication skills, an interest in the field of news and events, critical and analytical bent of mind are all that need to be suitable for studying BMM. Candidates' performance on the admission exam determines whether they will be accepted into one of India's top BMM universities.
