In order to apply for BOptm course admission at Manipal Tata Medical College, candidates must meet the last educational qualification set by the college. Aspirants must complete Class 12 with 50% aggregate with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics from a recognised board, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in PCB/PCM course curriculum.

For admission to a four-year Bachelor in Optometry course at NSHM Institute of Health Sciences Durgapur, aspirants need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates must pass Class 12 from a recognised board. They must have studied their Higher Secondary Class with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics as the main subjects. This is a mandatory step to pass before applying at NSHM Institute of Health Sciences Durgapur. 

Bachelor of Optometry (BOPTM) programme is of a four-year duration.

The latest cutoff for BOPTM is 60% in class 12th grade with science.
