With an acceptance rate of just 11%, the Boston University admissions are considered very tough. The low acceptance rate suggests that this university follows a highly selective approach in finding the right and academically inclined students to pursue education here.
Below are the Boston University application requirements for UG and PG students:
Completed Common Application form.
Application fee of approx. $80 or around 6,600 INR).
Letters of recommendation (usually from teachers or counselors).
Personal essay or statement of purpose.
Financial documents proving ability to pay tuition and living expenses.
Copy of passport data page.

International students with a three-year bachelor's are accepted to Boston University. They should have earned a First Division or equivalent from an institution accredited by India's National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade 'A or higher.
Other degree holders are also welcome, but their transcripts are individually reviewed for eligibility. However, the university generally prefers a four-year bachelor's.

As an Indian student, you would be be required to submit academic transcripts with good scores. Other than that you would have to submit good scores in SAT, ACT, GRE or GMAT. To send your application in for UG courses, use the Common App. For PG courses, you can do that from the university website. Documents that have to be submitted include academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, essays, financial documents, etc.
