The Boston University application for MPH courses should be submitted via the centralized online portal which is the Schools of Public Health Application Service (SOPHAS).

At Boston University for their MPH courses, Indian students are awarded with 48 credits on-campus.
It can take up to 5 years to complete the Master's in Public Health course from BU. It is to be noted that students on F1 visa are required to enroll full-time (12+ credits) every semester.

Yes, Masters in Public Health can be considered a really good course to pursue as an international student. As per the US World and News 2025, these courses are ranked at #7 in the whole world.
The university offers a skills-based curriculum focused on health. The first year tuition fee is INR 35L. And 97% of MPH graduates received placements within 12 months of graduation.

The primary deadline (Regular Decision) to apply for merit scholarships at Northeastern Uni is Jan 1, 2027. Scholarship decisions are usually announced by Mid-March.

Students who are late for paying their tuition fee will face a USD 150 (INR 14.1 K) fine, 30 days after the due date.
If unpaid balance remains, students will have to pay a 1% monthly charge on the same. In case the tuition fees remains pending for too long, NEU Uni can put a hold on a student's account. The university also has the right to de-register a student.

A few merit-based scholarships are offered by Boston University for its MBA students. These are Dean's Scholarships and Social Impact Scholarship. No separate application is required for these merit-based scholarships. Dean's Awards provides scholarships ranging from USD 10,000 to full tuition per year.

Indian students are required to comply with the Massachusetts state law and the university requirements. The students would need to submit proof of immunizations.
The students would also have to fill an Immunization requirements form which should be signed by a healthcare provider to the BU Patient Connect portal. The records should be in English and also signed by a physician.

To get an I-20 form from Boston University, Indian students have to show the financial support for the entire academic year.
This proof is generally needed for I-20 purposes only but it is mostly asked for in the F1 visa at the US Consulate. Hence, Indian students should be ready to show the proof of sufficient funds via bank statements, letters or loans.
