University of Jammu offers Masters in botany, a two year postgraduate course. The eligibility criteria for the same is graduation degree in Bachelors of Science or equivalent. The cutoff was released for the final round of CUET on oct10. The cutoff was 328.95 for general,229.61 for SC,186.99 for ST,233.43 for OBC,229.9for EWS.

Both courses are equally good and have great salaries, and job prospects in the present and future. However, it depends on your interest If plants interest you more, then go for a Bachelor of Science in Botany, and if animal life interest you more, then you should go for a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. There are many courses that you can take after B.Sc. You can go for M.Sc. In any one of these subjects or any professional degree related to these. Some of the most preferred courses after B.Sc in botany. Zoology and chemistry are :
M.Sc inbotany. Zoology, chemistry, microbiology, forensic sciences, genetics, analytical chemistry and other subjects.
