Admission Process:
The admission criteria adopted are primarily based on the merit achieved in the qualifying exam as prescribed by the Affiliating University and also for a past-academic track record.
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university. Students are selected for admission to P.G. Classes with at least 40% marks at degree level.

Salary trend of M.Sc. Botany graduates depends on the industry and job profile. In research field the remuneration is very high for botany graduates. Apart from this they can also work in food or SEED production companies which also offer handsome pay packages.

The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Services Selection Board (UPSESSB) conducts an examination for the selection of candidates for the post of trained graduate teachers (UP-TGT) in government schools of the state. The basic essential requirement is that one must be at least 21 years of age and have a Bachelor's degree. For TGT (Science), the essential requirement is:
B.Sc in Physics and Chemistry as well as a B.Ed. From a recognised university. For TGT Biology the essential requirement is:
B.Sc with Biology Zoology and Botany) and a B.Ed. Degree from a recognised university. Therefore, you may be eligible for TGT Biology if you have a B.Ed. Degree along with a graduate degree.
