I would like to clear that LPU has very good records in Music and Performing arts I have a lot of friends from the Performing arts dept who achieved a lot at very big levels. LPU provides B.A. ( 3 years ) and B.A. Degrees ( 4years ) in music vocal. The three-year degree programme of B.A. (Music Vocal) focuses on intensive performance sessions along with a theoretical understanding of new approaches to presentation and production. The curriculum allows students to explore their academic and professional interests while pursuing musical studies and This four year internationally accepted degree programme enables students to explore the artistic nuance of Indian classical Music through intensive training and enriches them with knowledge of technical aspects of the industry like sound design, arranging and event management, etc. Moreover, LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experience in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommend that if you really want to make your career with a good level of education then you should go for LPU. Dear Aayush, Both the programmes are good at LPU. My friend did BPA (Music) and one friend did BPA (Theatre) from LPU only and are now well settled in their career. Bachelor of Performing Arts is four years internationally accepted degree programme in Music that provides intensive training in Music and include professionally apt field projects like T. V and Film production along with Interdisciplinary inputs on event management, IT adds to the employability of the students. Placements: Above 65% of the students get placed from the University. The salary packages offered depends on the company and the student. Record labels & music companies visit the campus for recruitment. Almost 50% of students got internships in multiple music companies & film companies in India. Roles offered were as Vocal artists, Composers, morning music producers, singer-songwriters, music directors, etc. For Admission in this programme, candidates just need to pass the percentage only in the qualifying exam. Although, LPU NEST is not required to qualify one can take this exam to avail or increase their scholarships. Hi Aditya, yes, It is possible in LPU. You can seek an easy Admission in M.A. (Music Vocal). Eligibility criteria to take Admission in this particular programme is that candidate must be Pass in Bachelors degree (any discipline) (with music as one of the main subjects) or any Bachelors degree (with 3 years. Diploma with music as one of the main subjects) or equivalent. I would advice you to send your scanned transcripts to them on an email.
