There are two options to get admission to B.Tech via lateral entry, for admission to government colleges you need to clear LEET. For example, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, Delhi Technological University, Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering and Netaji Subhas University of Technology offer lateral entry to B.Tech course via LEET.
And second, you can try getting direct admission to a B.Tech course via lateral entry. Galgotias University, Shobhit University Meerut, and NIET Noida- all these colleges require a good percentage in Diploma courses to get admission in 2nd year of B.Tech.

Visvesvaraya Technological University accepts multiple entrance exams fro BTech. KCET/ COMEDK UGET/ JEE Main are few of the entrance exams for BTech admission. Candidates are required to apply/regiater for the exam by visiting their official website. However, there are a minimum eligibility criteria for the BTech, which candidates must qualify for admission.
Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 or equivalent qualification with English as one of the language with minimum 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST and OBC category candidates) in Physics and Mathematics along with one optional subject

To get admission in the BTech programme at IIIT Raichur, candidate must appear for the JEE Mains. General category candidates must atleast secure 75% aggregate marks in their qualifying exam while SC/ST candidates must secure minimum 65% aggregate marks.

Yes, you can join Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University without any entrance exam for B.Tech. To be eligible to get into the B.Tech program, one must pass class 12th with a minimum of 50% along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the mandatory subjects, from a recognized board. There is no entrance exam required to get into the university for B.Tech. The admission is based on merit.

No, you cannot join IFTM University without any entrance exam for B.Tech.
IFTM University offers various programmes at the UG, PG, Diploma and Doctorate levels. All these programmes are offered by eleven different schools of IFTM University. The programmes are mainly in the field of Engineering, Business Management, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Arts, Sciences, Law, and Agricultural Sciences & Engineering.
IFTM University admission 2022 for all the programmes are strictly based on merit scores in the last qualifying exam (Class 12 score for UG programme, graduation score for PG programme).

The admission to BTech is done on the basis of JEE Main, SAAT score. BTech Lateral Entry in Engineering are also offered for candidates who have passed Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology / Biology / Informatics / Statistics. The eligibility criteria for the course is Class 12 with 50% aggregate.

PES University conducts PESSAT for admission to BTech programme. PESSAT is a computer-based test of 3 hours required for BTech. Apart from PESSAT, candidates can also apply through JEE Main or KCET scores. If a candidate wants to compete through both PESSAT quota and JEE Mains quota, he/ she must register separately for BTech and BTech (JEE). After final selection, selected aspirants are called for PESSAT Counselling. Aspirants need to pay a programme fee to confirm their seat in the university.
