For admission to the BTech course at Sapthagiri NPS University, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The selection criteria for this course is entrance-based i.e., KCET/COMEDK/JEE or any state government entrance exam and candidates must pass Class 12. The duration of the course is four years.

Some states conduct their own state exams, like COMEDK, WBJEE, KCET, etc. Some private colleges take their respective exams too. Like VIT, BITs etc., and also mostly colleges accept JEE Mains. But some also accept CUET or take direct admission.

For admission to the BTech course at Ajeenkya DY Patil University - Seamedu School of Pro-Expressionism, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The selection criteria for this course is entrance-based i.e., Class 12 with a 45% aggregate with Physics & Mathematics (40% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).

Yes, Calcutta University offers over ten specialisations in BTech courses, for admission to all specialisations, the university accepts the WBJEE entrance examination except for BTech in Jute and Fibre Technology: For admission into the second year of BTech course
in Jute and Fibre Technology, the candidates should qualify JELET for lateral entry and should have any one of the following degrees: BSc with Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics, BSc in Textile and Clothing/ B.FAD or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ etc.

The preparation time for the BTech Petroleum Engineering entrance exams cannot be said with certainty. To get excellent marks and rank in the entrance test, you should start preparing at least 6 to 8 months before the final exam date so that you have a good amount of time for revision and studying the entire exam syllabus section-wise.
The competition is quite high, especially at top colleges like the IITs, for which you must work extra hard and get excellent marks in the entrance test by preparing well in advance.

The current year question papers are written in English. downloadable PDFs of past exam papers which can be extremely helpful for your preparation. Furthermore you can check platforms like Shiksha and Testbook which provide access to previous years' papers and sample questions. It is advisable to visit these sites and search for the specific year where you are interested in to gather all necessary material for your exam preparation.
