Eligibility Criteria for B.E/B.Tech
Eligible candidates for B.E/B.Tech at Rao Bahadur Y Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College (RYMEC) are as follows:
Qualification : Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and third subject either Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science.
Minimum Marks: Minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and the third subject (40% for reserved category students).
Entrance Exam: Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET is the major entrance examination for entry. COMEDK UGET has to be taken for management quota seats.
Age Bar: Candidates should be 17 years old or more at the time of admission.

Yes, you can get admission to Azad Institute of Engineering and Technology for BTech without the JEE Main exam. Yes, Admission through COMEDK UGET or JEE Main to B.E./B.Tech courses of University B.D.T. College of Engineering -affiliated VTU. COMEDK is the entrance exam for some private engineering colleges in Karnataka and there are students getting admission on the basis of their valid scores in the JEE Main.
