The average placement package for Computer Science/ Electronics and Communication/ Mechanical Engineering students is between 4.5 Lakh to 6.5 Lakh. The salary offered to Civil/Chemical/Mechanical engineering students ranges between INR 3.5 Lakhto 5.5 Lakh per annum. The average package offered to Information Technology/Electronics engineering students is between 4 Lakh and 6 Lakh. Selection for B.Tech and M.Tech is done on the basis of the entrance exam (Assam CEE and GATE respectively) whereas, for all other courses, admission is done on the basis of merit in the previous qualifying examination.

Eligibility for UG courses is 10 + 2 passed and the same for PG courses is a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Selection for B.Tech and M.Tech is done on the basis of the entrance exam (Assam CEE and GATE respectively) whereas, for all other courses, admission is done on the basis of merit in the previous qualifying examination.
