Hey Nishar,

S A Engineering College-Chennai is an private college which offers B.Tech, B.E, MBA, M.Tech, MCA.

Among these 17 B Tech courses, seats ranging frim 60-180 are provided there and tuition fee is about  1.2 L to 2 L. And has an sallary package of 3.5Lpy

The BTech fee structure of the programme is INR 1.1 lakh- 4 Lacs for the four-year programme. MG University offers BTech specilisation in Polymer Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, CSE, Naval Architecture, Cyber Security, and others. The fee structure does not inculde the hostel and mess fees.

Yes, PMIST has been ranked by various ranking agencies for its BTech programmes. In 2023, it was ranked by India Today and Times. Times ranked PMIST at #150 for BTech in 2023. This makes the university the 21st best among the institutes ranked by Times in Tamil Nadu. As per the India Today ranking, BTech at PMIST stood at #244 position in 2023.

PMIST admits students to its BTech programme under three criteria. Only the admissions under the first criteria are based on the scores of accepted entrance exams. Candidates can get an admission at PMIST for BTech without an entrance exam under the other two criteria. However, a preference is given to the candidates who have appeared for an entrance exam. The accepted exams include Uni-Gauge, JEE Main or any other national-level exam conducted by a competent authority. The following table showcases the admission criteria for BTech at PMIST:

To get an admission at PMIST for BTech courses, candidates can submit their application in online mode via the official website of the university. Before submitting the applications, candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria specified by the university for BTech admissions. To submit their applications for BTech admission, candidates must visit the official webiste of PMIST (formerly known as PMU). 

The steps included in PMIST BTech application process are given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of PMU

Step 2: Click on the "ADMISSION 2024-25" reflecting on the screen

Step 3: Enter all the required details and select BTech as the desried course. Also select the choice of specialisation in the order of priority

Yes, PMIST (formerly knows as PMU) reserves 5% of the total BTech seats for candidates belonging to NRI category. Additionally, the university reserves 15% of the seats over and above the approved intake (Supernumerary Seats) are reserved for Foreign Nationals/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)/Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries.
