Yes, HGPI offers lateral entry to BTech programme. Aspirants who have passed Diploma from a recognised board or university or equivalent with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for candidates belonging to reserved category) can apply for lateral entry.

To be eligible, for the B.Tech program you should achieve 60% in all subjects, which include English, Physics and Mathematics as well as one subject each from Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational Subjects from a recognized Board of School Education or its equivalent. You must also pass the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2).
Please note that candidates falling under categories such as SC, ST, Rajasthan state OBC Non creamy layer or women will receive a 5% relaxation from the eligibility criteria.
