Admissions at Jadavpur University for undergraduate courses typically commence after the announcement of Class 12 results. The admission process for PG courses usually starts in April and May. For PhD programs, Jadavpur University conducts admissions twice a year, in May and June, and then in December and January.

The total tuition fees for BTech is INR 3.5 lakh - INR 6.7 lakh at JIS University. Candidates selected for admission need to pay the course fees to confirm their seat. Aspirants can pay the fees via any of the online payment mode after completion of document verification.

Candidates are offered admission in BTech programme of JIS University based on their JET scores. The university conducts JET in online mode. Aspirants who pass the test may also called for group discussion/ interview round. Selected candidates get provisional admission offer. Aspirants need to come for document verification and pay the course fees to confirm their seat.

B Tech and B Arch are two different programs by principle and both have different admission procedure. So, you can't switch between these once we're accepted into one program. However, it's easy to switch branch or specialisation in B Tech program. You are advised to contact the administation office of the college in which you are interested.

For graduates in 2021 and 2022, the median placement packages were INR 3 LPA and INR 3.6 LPA, respectively. The entire cost of tuition is between INR 1.8 and INR 3 L. In light of this, the average package exceeds the tuition charge cap, suggesting a strong return on investment. JLU Bhopal seems to provide an affordable route to a fulfilling engineering career.

The placement of B.Tech students at JLU Bhopal has shown encouraging improvement, with median packages increasing from INR 3 LPA (2021) to INR 3.6 LPA (2022). A minimum of 50% in 10+2 or via JLUET is required to meet eligibility requirements. Given that tuition fees range from INR 1.8L to INR 3L and that the average package costs INR 3.6L, the return on investment is respectable. With all of these things taken into account, JLU Bhopal seems to create a competitive environment for B.Tech students.

Pursuing B.Tech at Amity University, Raipur requires a focused effort. The undergraduate programme offers nine specialisations over the course of four years, divided into eight semesters. Passing Class 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is a requirement for admission, with some modifications needed for specialised programmes. Yes, Odisha has reservations for SEBC (Socially and Economically Backward Classes) in state government colleges for B.Tech admissions in 2024. The reservation policy includes various categories such as Scheduled Tribe (12%), Scheduled Caste (8%), Physically Challenged (5% in each category), Ex-Servicemen (3%), Tuition Fee Waiver (up to 5%), and Oriya belonging to outlying Oriya (Odia) speaking tracts (3%).
