It cannot be said that a student with a minimum cutoff for BTech will get a seat at Saveetha Institute of medical and technical sciences or not. The cutoff totally depends on the number of seats available for the students. The student are alloted the seats according to the number of seats only. You may or may not get a seat with a minimum cutoff, If there a high number of seats then the cutoff will be less and you may get a seat. But if the number of seats are less then the cutoff will be high and you may not get a seat.

The number of student who will be able to do BTech at Saveetha Institute of medical and technical sciences totally depends on the number of seats available. This year approximately 1250 seats are available for the students to take admission. Different department of BTech have different number of seats available, for eg in BTech cs  180 seats are available, while in machenical 60 seats are available. So according to the number of seats the cutoff will be released. If the seats are more cutoff will be less and if seats are less cutoff will be high.

It cannot be clearly said that you can get admission for BTech at Saveetha Institute of medical and technical sciences with 200 marks or not. The admission is based upon the cutoff, so in order to take the admission you need to qualify for the entrance exam as well as the cutoff also.By a 200 marks in the JEE Mains exams you may or may not get the admission, it totally depends on the cutoff and the cutoff totally depends on factors like no. of seats, reservations etc.

AEC any day.

1. AEC admits students on the basis of CEE examination which has a selection ratio of 2% (420/22000 * 100%). On the other hand I am not sure about the way KU admits students. Definitely it’ll be easier to get into KU.

2. Here comes the fees. tuition fees per semester in AEC is << 10,000 rupees. On the other hand you pay 50–60k rupees (or more I am not sure) if you study in KU.

3. AEC has completed its golden jubilee. But KU is a new institution.

4. You’ll get more opportunities of development in Guwahati.

5. AEC has got reasonable placements, some PSUs also visit there. Not much idea on KU placements.
