RTU BTech is offered in ten specialisations at the University campus. These specialisations are: Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Instrumentation and Control, Information Technology, Production and Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and Petrochemical Engineering.

The total tuition fee for BE is INR 2 Lacs as per an unofficial source. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission.

Admission to BTech and BE courses do not require any entrance exam score. Candidates will be required to come for TNEA Counselling based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. 65% of seats are for Government Quota under Single Window System. 35% of seats will be filled by the College under Management Quota through Consortium.  Aspirants are shortlisted based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. The shortlisted candidates need to come for TNEA Counselling for final selection. candidates who have completed Class 12 with 50% each in Physics and Chemistry and 100% in Mathematics are eligible to apply for BTech and BE courses. BE and BTech are four-year courses divided into eight semesters. PSNA College of Engineering and Technology offers BE in six specialisations, namely Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, Biomedical, Electrical & Electronic, etc. BTech is offered in three specialisations, namely omputer Science and Business Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Information Technology. Candidates after completing Class 12 can apply for BE/ BTech courses.

BTech is a four-year course offered at the UG level in seven specialisations, namely Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil, Electronics & Communication and Petroleum Engineering. Some of specialisations like CSE and Mechanical Engineering have sub-specialisations. Candidates after completing Class 12 can apply for the DIT University Dehradun BTech course.

Yes, DY Patil College of Engineering offers a four-year BE programme in the field of Engineering which is considered equivalent or similar to the BTech programme. Approved by AICTE, recognised by DTE (Govt. of Maharashtra), this course is available across nine specialisations which include Computer, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical, Production Sandwich, Civil, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and Robotics & Automation.
