Pratap University, Jaipur offers 4- year B.Tech courses under different specializations such as: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The total number of students who can do B.Tech. from the college will totally depend on the number of seats offered by the college which is affected by the admission criteria and the number of participating students for the particular session.

Pratap University, Jaipur offers B.Tech admissions in two – ways: B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral where the minimum eligibility criteria demand for the students to have completed class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory papers with at least 45% (40% for SC/ ST) marks or above in aggregate. For lateral entry, candidates should have cleared a Diploma or equivalent examination with at least 45% (40% for SC/ ST) marks or above in aggregate. There are no other tests required for admissions.

At the time of Plaksha University Mohali admission, students are asked to indicate their preference of a major. However, they will formally declare their major only at the end of the third semester and can choose any of the four majors being offered.  

The freshmore curriculum (for 3 semesters) is intentionally designed to be common among the degrees, so that students have an opportunity to be exposed to different options and make an informed choice

The cutoff marks required for B.Tech in Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune may vary from year to year. factors affecting the cutoff marks are number of applicants, availability of seats. The expected cutoff is 80.74 for IT Engineering, 70 for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, 62 for Mechanical Engineering, and 60 for Civil Engineering. The total cutoff for JEE-Main is 13332 for the year 2023 for general category. The cutoff for seats in computer Science department is usually around 80-82 in the SET exam.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Pune, accepts the following examination marks for admission to its B.Tech programme: Symbiotic Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (SITEEE):

SIT conducts its own engineering entrance examination called SITEEE. Selection is based on the marks obtained in SITEEE or JEE Main or any state government engineering entrance examination .

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main: SIT mainly accepts JEE scores for admission to its B.Tech programme .
