The seat intake for Bachelor of Technology in MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences & Research is 60. There is no minimum cutoff for B Tech. It depends on the respective college cutoff. Although for admission in IITs you will have to first get above a certain percentile (generally 90) then you are eligible to give JEE advanced exam. Then you need to qualify in JEE advanced exam that is scoring above a certain cutoff marks in each subject (maths, physics, chemistry) and scoring above cutoff as a whole after which you are given a rank and are eligible to sit in IIT admission.

To get selected in a B.Tech college in India, the student first must select the college they want to get in, once they have an idea of which college they want, they can fill the entrance exam application form. JEE Mains is one of the entrance exams, and mostly all of the engineering colleges in India accept JEE Mains score. There are some universities that have their own entrance exams such as BITS and so the students must fill their applications in them accordingly.
