Sant Baba Bhag Singh University BTech admission cycle starts with the application process. The eligible students can apply in both online and offline modes. SBBSU selection committee scans the received applications and shortlist them. The selection is done based on performance in the last qualifying examination. However, to be eligible for admission, candidates should be Class 12 pass with required aggregate and subject combination. These selected students have to then get their documents verified and pay the required fee amount.

The eligibility criteria for B.E. / B.Tech at Hi-Tech Institute of Technology is the student should be passed in 10+2 examination with compulsary subjects Physics and Mathematics and in one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subject. for general category at least 45% aggregate in the above subjects. and for reserved category (SC/OBC) at least 40% aggregate.

Candidates are required to go through a counselling process after achieving relevant scores in JEE Mains for admission to BTech courses at Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus. Moreover, the institute conducts the counselling process through its campus. The dates of counselling have been released. According to the information available on the official sources, the counselling is going to be conducted in mid-June for admission to BTech courses.
