BTech courses focus on both aspects, theoretical classroom knowledge as well as practical, hands-on training in lab classes so that you have a foundational understanding of the engineering principles and later apply those to tackle real-world challenges at the workplace. Well, yes. In most of the top-tier BTech colleges in India, you will find this parameter of a minimum attendance of 75% in each BTech subject in every semester. Colleges with strict guidelines often do not permit students to sit for semester exams if they fail to meet the minimum attendance requirement; a few may give relaxation based on genuine reasons like health issues or family exigency.

BTech colleges must have both academic facilities and extracurricular arrangements. On the academic front, there should be well-furnished labs and classrooms where you can gain the best possible theoretical and practical knowledge. Plus, resourceful libraries and a decent IT infrastructure are important for BTech coursework.

Apart from these, the hostel facilities must be good so that you can enjoy a comfortable stay during BTech course duration, along with sports clubs, a dedicated placement cell, health facilities, healthy canteen food, and transportation.

This is quite subjective and differs from one to another based on individual future plans and interests. If you're very passionate about a specific field of engineering and have a clear-cut goal in mind for your future, you should definitely pick branch over college for BTech admission. Plus, certain BTech branches also have higher earning potential like CSE, AI & ML, Data Science, etc.

On the other hand, if you're unsure about your future career path and are not passionate about a particular branch, you must prioritize the college over the branch, the one offering excellent networking opportunities and placement support.

Very much! It'll help you get the best job options possible as a BTech graduate. Quality education, strong industrial reputation, etc., will get you better placement opportunities.

But, it is not the only deciding factor. You should also have practical skills, internship experience, and a go-getter attitude to excel at the interview and get a high-paying job after BTech.
