No, direct admission to the B.E. / B.Tech programme at Visakha Institute of Engineering and Technology (VIET) is not possible without appearing for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET)VIET primarily uses Andhra Pradesh EAMCET scores for B.Tech admissions, and candidates must participate in the entrance exam counselling process.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at AVS Engineering College the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear TNEA counseling and secure valid rank to be eligible for the course.

Candidates must receive 45% (40% for reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational subject in their 10+2 coursework in order to be admitted to the B.E./B.Tech programme at A.R. Engineering College (AREC), Villupuram. TNEA counseling, which is based on 10+2 grades, is the main method of admission. When filling out the choice form, register, submit your documents, and choose AREC. Direct admission based on merit is possible through management quota seats, for which you can apply at the college. Diploma holders can use TNEA to apply for lateral entry.

The highest package offered to B.Tech students at Arunodaya University has gone up to around INR 7 Lacs per year, but that's usually for top-performing students. On average, most students get offers between INR 3 to INR 4 lakh. Big companies like Wipro and Aditya Birla have hired from the campus in the past.

B.E./B. Tech admission selection criteria will have candidates achieving 50% marks (45% for BC/BCM, 40% for MBC/DNC/SC/ST) in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from a recognised board. Mostly admissions are done through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling based on 10+2 merit conducted by Anna University.

The students need to submit the TNEA application form (which will be released on 01 May 2025) along with the mark sheets and remit an application fee of INR 500-1000.
