The BTech admission process designed by Vishwakarma University is purely entrance-based. Thus, candidates aspiring to take admission must have appeared for either JEE Main or MH-CET. Those who have not appeared for the aforementioned national-level entrance tests can take the university's in-house entrance test, i.e., VUNET. Other than this, it is also essential that students fulfill the basic eligibility criteria.

Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the university must apply for the preferred BTech course by visiting the university's official website. Once applied, students are required to wait for the release of the merit list. Those who are offered admissions must submit the provisional admission form costing INR 25,000 and are required to report to the campus for document verification and payment of fees. 

45% Marks in 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are needed for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses at South Point Institute of Technology & Management, and for the reserved categories, it's 40%. Entry into the courses can be secured mainly through JEE Main or HSTES counseling, which requires applying for entrance rank, as well as HSTES counseling and making a preference for the institute in their list.

Management quota encourages direct admissions by contacting the admission office depending on the qualification and seat availability. 10+2 Mark Sheet, Entrance Score Card, and ID will be a must. Early application, strong exam performance, and timely document submission are crucial. 

The eligibility criteria for B.E./B.Tech at South Point Institute of Technology & Management require candidates to have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (40% for reserved categories). Admission is based mainly on JEE Main or the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) counseling procedure, and the merit list is prepared based on the ranks obtained in the entrance examination.

In this case, students compatible with the merit list will apply through the WBJEE portal, selecting SVIST in consideration. Direct admission would be given only on the management quota seats concerning eligibility and availability, by a route through the admission office of the college. Therefore, applicants will have to submit a 10+2 mark sheet, either of the entrance exams taken, and an identity document. 

For Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology (SVIST), the B.E./B.Tech eligibility requirements say that a candidate should have passed 10+2 with 45% (40% for reserved categories) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Admission into the B.E./B.Tech course normally takes place through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE), or JEE Main, while the counseling is mainly done by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. Candidates shall also be eligible for consideration if they have a valid rank in these entrance examinations. Candidates going through the route of direct admission shall be eligible as regards the management quota, determined by eligibility and availability.
