It is not compulsory to have both AEEE and JEE Mains percentile for admission to B.Tech at Amrita School of Engineering. Candidates can choose the mode of admission. Even after choosing one option, candidates can opt for the other one any time.

Gautam Buddha University provides BTech programs requiring students to have passed 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects, plus Chemistry, Biotechnology, technical vocational subject. Minimum of 45% marks & 40% for SC/ST is required in these subjects combined. Admission is based on Gautam Buddha University Entrance Test or JEE Main scores.

Amrita School of Engineering conducts AEEE in two phases for BTech admission. The AEEE exam dates of the two phases are as follows:

• Phase 1: 30th January -1st February
• Phase 2: 25th April-30th April

Vivekananda Global University is yet to release its average package for BTech. However, the overall the highest package recorded during VGU Jaipur placements 2025 is provided in the table below:

A candidate can choose to apply to BTech at Amrita School of Engineering either through AEEE or JEE Mains or both. BTech seats at Amrita School are offered according to the Centralized Seats Allotment Process. The guidelines for seat allocation are as follows:

• JEE Mains: 30%
• AEEE: 60% 

It is not compulsory to take both the JEE and AEEE exam to get admission in BTech programme at Amrita School of Engineering. AEEE is conducted in two phases. Candidates can attend any one of the phases or both phases to secure AEEE 2026 rank. 

Amrita School of Engineering offers scholarships to meritorious students that are given in the form of Tuition Fee Waiver based on their marks and admission interview performance. The criteria for Amrita School of Engineering scholarships are as follows:

1. Amrita Chancellor scholarship: 100% tuition waiver for students who score 80% and above
2. Amrita Meritorious scholarship: 50% tuition waiver for students who score 70%-79%

Amrita School of Engineering offers multiple scholarships to BTech students based upon different criteria. The details of such scholarships are mentioned below:

• Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Scholarship: It is given to meritorious students on the basis of their academic performance in the qualifying exam.
• Amrita Merit Scholarship: It is given to students who have got high ranks in national-level entrance exams like JEE and BITSAT.
• Amrita Vidyalayam Scholarship: It is given to students who have completed their higher secondary education from Amrita Vidyalayam schools.

Amrita School of Engineering offers many specialisation in its BTech programs at the Coimbatore. The annual tuition fee for BTech in Aerospace Engineering (AEE) is INR 4 lakh. The BTech in Automation & Robotics  (ARE) is offered at the annual tuition fee of INR 3.5 lakh.

The annual fee for BTech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Amrita School of Engineering Coimbatore is INR 6 lakh. The fee to be paid annually for BTech CSE (Aritificial Intelligence) as well as BTech CSE (Cyber Security) is also INR 6 lakh.
