It may be difficult to get a B.Tech seat at prestigious National Institutes of Technology (NITs) with an All India Rank (AIR) of 48,810 and an EWS category rank of 20,160 in JEE Mains particularly in fields with high demand like computer Science or electronics. To get admission into BTech courses at Somaiya Vidyavihar University, candidates are required to complete the primary eligibility criteria first, which states applicants must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream and study one of the optional subjects from (Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subjects).
Moreover, the secondary eligibility criteria contain valid scores from entrance examinations, such as the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT), JEE-Main, Common University Entrance Test (CUET), MHT-CET, and PERA-CET.
