Announced by College of Engineering; Latest BTech Production Engineering Lateral Entry Cut-off

College of Engineering will presumably declare cut-off marks for lateral entry admissions into B-tech Production Engineering Program for the different branches of the students this time as per the latest news, which is true for the academic session 2024-2025 through admission portals of corresponding entrance examination and old courses held to screen applicants.

However, it generally mandates the students to have completed an engineering diploma or equivalent qualifying examination and secure an average percentage requirement varying about 50 to 60% completion.

The placement record of B.Tech graduates at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University is modest. Around 60-70% of the students get placed, with average salaries ranging from INR 3 to 5 LPA. The highest package that has been made recently is around INR 9 LPA mainly through off-campus placements. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services and other similar major companies visit the campus. However, the frequency of such campus visits is not so often. The university placement cell is actively involved in employability improvement through skills development initiatives, but the students are encouraged to do internships and networking that improve their job prospects.

Depending on their specialisation and graduation year, NMIMS Shirpur's B.Tech students usually receive an annual package of 4 to 6 lakh. The campus is renowned for emphasising technical education while also exposing students to management which improves their employability.

Several top IT and engineering firms, including TCS, Infosys, Cognisant, Wipro and Capgemini are among the notable recruiters that visit the Shirpur campus. During placements specialised positions in data analysis, engineering design, and software development are frequently available. Job prospects are further enhanced by the placement cell's facilitation of internships and pre-placement offers.

Through the School of Engineering & Technology (SET) Nagaland University provides B.Tech programs with a focus on computer Science and engineering and information technology. Performance on entrance exams such as JEE Main or state-level engineering entrance exams is the main factor in the admissions process.

The B.Tech admissions process at MIT College of Railway Engineering and Research (MITCORER) is merit-based and adheres to the regulations set forth by the AICTE and DTE Maharashtra. Candidates must have earned at least 50% of their possible points (45% for restricted categories) in their 10+2 or its equivalent, with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational courses as core courses.

Candidates must be eligible to take entrance tests at the state or national level, such as MHT CET or JEE Main. Candidates register, complete the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), and are assigned seats according to their preferences and merit. For qualified candidates, direct admissions may also be possible under institute-level quotas.
