Since you are an AIR 827976 in JEE Mains, Pvt Engineering Colleges or even Government Colleges in the states seem to be a good catching point because the cutoffs are not so high.

Heritage Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Carpet Technology and new IIITs like IIIT Kalyani, IIIT Una are some good options for you. Also explore the state-level engineering colleges in my home state under? 4 Lacs in which most times there are home candidates reserved seats at much lower cut-offs.

NIT Goa has specific branches having quite higher cut-off lines.

Eligibility criteria for B.E. / B.Tech at Alagappa Chettiar Government College of Engineering and Technology (ACCET) include a candidate's successful completion of 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The candidate should be between 17 and 25 years of age, as relaxed by the government rules. Admission is through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions counselling, which takes into consideration the marks scored in the 10+2 examinations. Admission is given to the candidates selected based on their performance in this counselling process.

Apply online by logging into Lucknow Institute of Technology's website and filling the online application form. There should be the necessary information relating to personal details, academic records, and contact information. Uploading Class 10 and 12 mark sheet, JEE Main or UPCET scorecard (if is necessary), and the related certificates Pay application fee online or via demand draft. Candidates, after submitting the application form, have to wait for further instructions related to entrance exams and counseling. Admission is strictly on merit and performance in entrance exams like JEE Main or UPCET.

Yes, you can get admission to a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) after completing a Diploma in CSE through lateral entry. Many top colleges provide lateral entry to BTech based on a diploma. Some of these colleges are:

  • MIT-WPU, Pune
  • Delhi Technological University (DTU) 
  • Lingaya's Vidyapeeth (Haryana)
  • JB Knowledge Park (DCRUST-affiliated, NCR)

The position of being at a CRL rank of 352084 along with an OBC NCL rank of 125766 will not fetch you any good seat in the top NITs, IITs, or any branch such as CSE.

It would be better to start looking for some government engineering colleges in your state and GFTIs.

They would have slightly lower cut-offs than those of NITs and IITs and provide reasonable value for your B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering.

Yes, you can get admission to BTech courses at Surya Group of Institutions, Chennai, without TNEA. The college also provides admission to BTech under management quota. To be eligible for the course, the candidate needs to have a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th in a relevant stream.

School of Aeronautics, Neemrana fee for BTech programme is INR 2.96- 9.2 lakh. The fee structure  is cumulative of multiple components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits,  etc. While candidates can pay the fee annually or semester-wise depending on the ask during School of Aeronautics, Neemrana admissions, there are a few components which are paid only once, namely one-time fee.
