Yes, you have a very good chance of getting into the MBA in Business Analytics program at Chandigarh University, even if your graduation score is under 60%. CU's basic requirement for MBA is at least 50% in graduation, so you're already eligible academically. Your 85% in MAT is an excellent score and significantly strengthens your application. In fact, scoring between 85–89.99% in MAT may qualify you for a 20% scholarship on semester fees, depending on seat availability. Since your MAT score is strong, it works in your favor during the merit-based admission process and makes up for the lower graduation percentage.

Yes, Chandigarh University offers an MBA in Business Analytics in collaboration with IBM. This partnership is one of the strongest highlights of the programs because it blends management education with real analytical and technological skills. CU has an IBM supported data analytics Lab on campus where students learn using tools like IBM cognos, IBM Planning Analytics, Hadoop, and Spark. Throughout the MBA, several subjects are co-designed with IBM, and students can also earn IBM digital badages and credentials. The programme includes live projects guided by IBM mentors, making the learning very practical and industry oriented.

Both the MBA in general and the MBA in Business Analytics belong to the same programme at BITS Pilani, Dubai, but there are slight differences that divide them into 2 different programs. Some of the differences between these 2 programs are:

  • The MBA in Business Analytics focuses on students who desire to become business analysts. This programme highlights various skills such as business analytics, problem-solving, etc.

  • The general MBA focuses on graduates from various industries such as Finance, Marketing, HR, etc.
