The primary eligibility requirement to get admission into the PGDM course at Vidya Prasarak Mandal's Institute of Management Studies (VPM's - IMS) is that candidates must complete their bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Moreover, the admission to the PGDM course is merit-based, which is evaluated according to candidates' acheived scores in their graduation, followed by GD & PI.

Vidya Prasarak Mandal's - Institute of Management Studies (VPM's - IMS) selection criteria vary depending on the course selected by the candidates. The institute considers several parameters to shortlist the students. Among these parameters, academic merit and performance in the GDPI are the most essential. Candidates are initially shortlisted based on merit and called for the GDPI round.

In MBA/PGDM in School of Management Studies, JNTUH, a valid score in the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS-ICET) is the first scheme of selection. The applicants should also have the eligibility of a Bachelor Degree of at least 50 percent marks (45 percent marks in the BC category). The process of admissions is concluding which is carried out by the centralised counselling carried out by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education and this is followed by document verification.

In MBA/PGDM at School of Management Studies, JNTUH the admission is based on the fact that a person has completed Bachelor Degree of minimum three years of duration (all others except Oriental Languages) with permanent minimum 50 percent aggregate marks (45 percent in case of BC category). Through the counselling, which is done on the basis of rank taken in the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS-ICET), admission mainly takes place.
