Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, also known as SNAP, is a computer-based test which has three main sections, namely General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency. The General English section mainly consists of reading comprehension and verbal reasoning and verbal ability. Analytical & Logical Reasoning tests logical and analytical skills. The aptitude of the candidate about quantitative analysis and data interpretation in the Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency section. Each correct answer fetches 1 mark, and for every wrong attempt, 0.25 marks are deducted.

Sreenivasa Institute of Technology and Management Studies (SITAMS) does not offer a 100% scholarship for all students. However, the institute provides various scholarship opportunities, particularly for economically disadvantaged and meritorious students. The annual fee for courses at SITAMS is approximately INR 35,000 for general students and INR 70,000 for management quota students. Additionally, the government offers scholarships from time to time, which can help reduce the financial burden on eligible students. To gain admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, candidates are selected based on their performance in the qualifying undergraduate examination. While preference is given to those with valid CAT scores, there is no separate quota reserved exclusively for CAT-qualified candidates. Therefore, taking the TANCET exam is not a requirement for admission to Sathyabama's MBA program.
Regarding seat allocation, Sathyabama reserves 15% of the total seats for Management Quota admissions. Additionally, there are allocations for NRI and Foreign students, as well as other specific quotas.

Eligibility Condition:

Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree from a recognised university of at least three years' duration with not less than 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category candidates).

Entrance Exam: A score from any of the entrance exams, such as the CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, or MAH MBA CET, valid for the year.

Selection Procedure:

1. Application Form: Fill in the application form available on the SBS official website or at the admissions office.

2. Entrance Exam Score: Upload your valid entrance exam scores along with the application.

3. Document Verification: The CAP is conducted by the DTE, Maharashtra; document verification and CAP round registration are compulsory.

4. Counseling and Seat Allocation: Candidates selected are called for counseling based on their entrance and academic performance. The seats are allocated.

5. Final Admission: After the allocation of seats, students will have to fulfill the above formalities to secure their MBA seat through fee payment and other required documents.
