It is not fully evident how well their Institute of Management Studies ranks with regard to the national network of management institutes as no specific ranking exists. However, they are rather famous for being a trainer most interested in meeting industry needs with respect to placements and training. It is not in the tier ranking of the best MBA colleges, but decent MBA options do exist with average placements. The average salary received by graduates hovers between INR 5-6 LPA, making it a proficient regional management school.

However, GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) being one of the prominent management institutes in Greater Noida may not be the best compared to other top institutions of the area. It is reputed for quality education with industry-specific curriculum, decent placement record, and academic infrastructure. GIMS ranks among the top 9 in Delhi/NCR according to The WEEK and has received the A+ category ranking from Chronicle for performance consistency. But there are institutes such as BIMTECH, Sharda University, etc. that have a good reputation in Greater Noida too.

For GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS), as an example, a few scholarships require a CAT percentile of 70+ which might give a crude approximation of at least the minimum necessary score. However, the exact cutoff may vary by year and depends on the exam (MAT, CMAT, XAT or GIMS Aptitude Test), other various factors like academic performance and interview processes.

All in all, GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GNIOT IMS) is a Tier 2 college. It definitely has an impressive placement record along with quality education but however, is not on the same level as Tier 1 institutes like the IIMs or world renowned private institutions such as XLRI or FMS.

But GNIOT IMS is a best option for students looking for a good management education, particularly in the Greater Noida area, owing to its industry-oriented curriculum, infrastructure, and placement opportunities.

The admission process into Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (PIMSR) is competitive but not so tough if eligibility criteria are fulfilled and entrance exams are cracked.

Here is what contributes to the extent of difficulty:

Entrance Exam Results:
PIMSR accepts scores from national exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, and ATMA. If the score is decent enough, the chances for shortlisting for GD and PI rounds will increase.

GD and PI Performance:
In addition to these, the Group Discussion and Personal Interview are also included in the selection procedure. A student's academic background combined with good performance in these

There is generally no direct admission to the Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (PIMSR) for the MBA/PGDM program. The students are basically admitted based of their scores at national level entrance examinations such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, or ATMA and then on the basis of GD and PI.

However, you may be let in under management quota or as a direct admission case in exceptional conditions and that too very rarely if the score is low in one of these tests or you have certain specialities that qualify for it. This again solely depends on the policy of the institute at that time.

It is advisable to check with the admi

Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (PIMSR) does not usually provide 100% scholarships to all its students. However, they do provide merit scholarships and financial assistance to the deserving ones. These scholarships usually are partial, depending on academic performance or need.

Students should check with the admissions office at PIMSR for more information about scholarship availability, eligibility criteria, and the procedure for applications. Full scholarships tend to be few, and they generally require students to meet certain criteria.
