SAGE University offers 840 seats for its MBA programme with the highest number of seats provided by MBA in Human Resource Management and MBA in Marketing Management. Both of the courses offer 120 seats to candidates. The rest 720 seats are divided among the rest of the courses with each MBA course averaging around 60 seats each.

MAT cut off for the MGM Institute of Management Studies and Research, Navi Mumbai, is not consistent for every year as the cut-off can change according to the number of aspirants, level of difficulty of the examination, seat availability, etc. Normally, a MAT percentage more than 70% to 75% is considered in the cut-off. Though it changes every year. Apart from the MAT score, the institute also observes performance in group discussions and personal interviews. The quality of food in the hostel mess at MGM Institute of Management Studies and Research is satisfactory. This mess provides a number of vegetarian dishes catering to the varied tastes and dietary needs of students. Hygiene is followed while food is prepared, and much emphasis is given to nutritionally balanced meals so that students are appropriately energized for their academic work. The mess staff, though sometimes bad in quality, attempts to keep things clean while ensuring that the students get a decent meal. Students do have preferences, but as a whole, most take the food as acceptable for hostel living conditions.
