The MBA courses at Saveetha University are offered via the School of Management. The eligibility criteria required for admissions to MBA courses is candidates must qualify for their bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50%. Additionally, candidates must have secured a valid score in any of the entrance exams from XAT/ CAT/ TANCET. Saveetha University's MBA admission process is completely based on the interview conducted by the admission department of the university. Candidates must note that the university shortlists the students based on their entrance examination scores, and shortlisted candidates are called for final selection- which will be based on the performance of the interview.

The University offers MBA in Finance, HRM, Business Analytics, Marketing Management and some other fields. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% during graduation. Furthermore, candidates must obtain a valid score in MAT/ CAT/ XAT or any other national level test suggested by the University during admission, to be eligble for admission in MBA. After applying online, candidates must appear for the Sunstone Screening Test and Interview. After that, candidates must upload documents required for verification and wait for the final process of shortlisting. For the final admission process, candidates will recieve an offer letter from the University.   

Common Admission Test or CAT is a national-level management aptitude test conducted by IIM for admission to MBA. Each year, over 2.3 Lacs candidates take the CAT exam, which is accepted by the IIMs and top MBA colleges in India. It is important to apply strict selection criteria to identify the top candidates among them. That's why, the CAT exam is tougher than other MBA entrance exams. Even though the syllabus of CAT is the same as that of other MBA entrance exams, the question paper set by the IIM faculty always has tough questions. As per the B.R. Ambedkar College Institute of Management and Technology TSICET cutoff 2024 for Round 1, the rank for the MBA course stood at 4481 for the General Home State Quota. During the Round 1 cutoff. Comparing the cutoff with previous years, a drastic decline can be visible in the cutoff pattern.
