Yes, the UT Sydney requires students to be really good in their academics to get a seat here. The UT Sydney Acceptance Rate is only 19%, according to an unofficial source. The university only accepts on average 2 applications for every 10 it receives.

Students with strong academics can get in here very easily, if they meet the university's entry requirements.
