Many colleges take students for direct admissions based on academic performances, extra-curricular activities, and work experience. In this regard, one can get direct admission to the Institute of Business Management and Rural Development (IMBRD) for an MBA/PGDM course. No entrance examinations like MAT are required for such direct admissions.
The other would be direct admission, which asks for the candidate to have a bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate percentage (usually around 50%). All mark sheets from prior education and proof of identity are needed.

Yes, you will get direct admission to the Institute of Business Management and Rural Development (IMBRD) to its MBA/PGDM course without taking the MAT. Many colleges, including IMBRD, give direct admissions based on academics and other criteria rather than entrance exams.
Graduates are usually supposed to be awarded an undergraduate degree pass with minimum marks percentage. Many colleges also conduct interviews, accept work experience and extracurricular activities, whereby they will consider a student for admission.
