Students seeking to pursue the PGPM-FBBE course can gain various skills that will help them take their business to new heights. HNGU offers a full-time MBA programme lasting two years. To be eligible for MBA admission, candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. To be eligible, they must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in their graduation. Additionally, they must present the required documents to prove their eligibility at the time of admission. The selection is based on the scores obtained in the accepted entrance examination.

The institute does not release the cout-wise placement statistics. As per the student reviews available on Shiksha.com, NIT Silchar MBA placements were given an average rating of 3.6 stars (out of 5). One of the reviewers commented "the highest package is INR 12 LPA, with an average package of INR 6 LPA and the lowest package of INR 4 LPA. Top companies are Amul, ITC, Berger Paints, IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Raychem, Star Cement, etc." (Review submitted in 2024).

There are a total of 15 core subjects inclulded in the BAOU MBA course curriculum. Apart from this, it has specialisation specific subjects as well. In the first two semesters, candidates have to study core subjects only. Mentioned below are some of the core courses:

The accelerated PGPM - FBE is specifically designed for family business successors and budding entrepreneurs to learn business management before they enter their ventures. It empowers them with key skills and knowledge to scale their businesses to the next level. During the BAOU MBA programme, candidates can choose one specialisation in the third and fourth semester. The offered specialisations are Human Resource, Finance, and Marketing. Under these specialisations, the candidates get to study the related topics. For example, in the Marketing specialisation, candidates study the following topics:

• Sales and Distribution Management
• Product and Brand Management
• Advertising and Digital Marketing

To get into GIIMS for the MBA course, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. Students must pass graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Global Institute of Integral Management Studies offers full-time MBA courses of two years' duration. Students can get into this course based on merit. 

The last date to apply for MBA admission at NIT Silchar typicall falls in March. In 2024, the last date to apply for admission was March 31, 2024. The online application started in December 2023. The last date to submit the registration fee for selected candidates was May 5, 2024. Applicants must also keep in mind the deadlines for CAT/MAT/CMAT application.

NIT Silchar admission dates vary from year to year. For MBA admission for the academic year 2024-25, the institute released application form on Dec 1, 2023. Other important admission dates as per the MBA information brochure 2024-25 are as follows:
