DIT University Dehradun reserve seats under certain categories. It reserves 40% of its total approved intake for reserved category candidates. Additionally, a 26% of scholarship on tuition and development fees is also provided to the applicants admitted under the reserved category. However, to avail admission in a reserved seat, the aspirants must submit the relevant documents.

Candidates need to complete Class 12 or HSc with at least 40% aggregate (for General category) and 35% aggregate for the reserved category to apply for ISB&M College of Commerce BBA programme. 

Aspirants who have passed three-year Diploma of Board of Technical Education Conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra or its equivalent can also apply. Candidates with MCVC (Minimum Competency Vocational Course) are also eligible to apply for BBA.

For admission to an MBA course of DIT University, it is crucial that the aspirants fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. The aspirants who have passed a valid bachelor's degree from a recognised board can apply. However, the bachelor's degree, Class 10, and Class 12 should have been passed with a minimum of 50% aggregate. The applicants must hold the relevant documents as well at the time of admission.

Candidates shortlisted based on exam scores are further called for the group discussion and personal interview round. The institute has released overall list of recruiters that participated in the 2023 drive, irrespective of the course. Some of the eminent companies that visited the Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women campus were Hexaware Technologies, BNY Mellon, Syngene, HCL Technologies, Omega Healthcare, CSS Corp, etc.

For admission to the BBA programme at Vijay Patil School of Management, candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination from any recognised state/national board with a minimum 75% aggregate (reserved category - 70% aggregate).

The selection criteria for this course are merit-based and candidates must pass Class 12 from any recognised state/national board with a 75% aggregate. Aspirants who belong to the reserved category should complete Class 12 with a 70% aggregate. Candidates who have not completed Class 12 are not eligible for admission.
