Admission to all the NIPS Hotel Management courses is primarily merit-based. Admission to BBA at NIPS Hotel Management is not done based on the scores obtained in any Entrance Exam. The admission is done based on the class 12th scores. The candidates must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 45% aggregate in any stream from any recognized board. 

Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) has a placement record for its BBA program. In recent years, the highest package offered was around INR 44.45 LPA, while the average package stood at approximately INR 11.12 LPA. NIPS Hotel Management, Bhubaneswar does not offer a BBA course. It offers other bachelor's courses, like Bachelor's in Hotel Management. To be eligible for these courses, the candidates must have passed class 12th in any stream from any recognized board. The courses offered by the institute are accredited by the Indian Federation of Culinary Association (IFCA). 

The eligibility and  entrance exams accepted by Institute of Management Development and Research for admission to MBA are as follow: 

Eligibility : Undergraduate Degree with 50% aggregate

Accepting Exams : MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAH CET

The application fee for the BBA programme at NIPS Hotel Management in Bhubaneswar is RS. 600. To submit the application successfully, application fee has to be paid. Students can pay the application fee via credit card/debit card/net banking or in another mode as prescribed by the institute. In addition, candidates shall keep the payment receipt safe for future references. It must be noted that the fee mentioned here is as per past years' data.

MAH MBA CET (Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test)

This is a state-level entrance test conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra for admission to MBA/MMS programs in VIT.

CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)

Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is another national-level entrance exam accepted by VIT for its MMS program.
