Business Management Studies

JBIMS, Mumbai offers the following course with different stages of admission process such as:

·       Master of Management Studies (MMS)- MAH- MBA CET. The selection of students is done through the common admission process carried out by DTE, Maharashtra.

·       Master of Science in Finance (M.Sc. Finance)- MH- CET/ CAT

·       Master of Human Resource Development (MHRD)- A written test and In Person Assessment

·       Ph.D. Programme in Management Studies- Qualifying exam- PET/ NET/ SET/ GRF and a personal interview

There are no other exams required than the ones given above. The college also offers Part- Time MMS Degree Programme, Management and Development Programme and Customized Management Development Programme.

For all CAT aspirants, the aim is to get into IIMs. For that, students must secure the 99 percentile in CAT. The number of mock tests required to get a 99 percentile depends from student to student. CAT is one of the highly competitive exams in India and Lacs of students appear and compete with each other to get into 21IIMs. The "success" depends on various factors such as students' understanding of the exam patterns, problem-solving skills, time management skills etc. Experts and many successful candidates always propose students take as many mock tests as possible to get a grip of the exam pattern. Why does experts focus on taking mock tests so much? The answer is simple; it helps stimulate the actual exam conditions and environment.  Some candidates take two or three mock tests every week till the exam days while others take one every day. The main focus should be on analyzing the mistakes understanding your strengths and weaknesses and working accordingly. Below are the requirements for the MBA course at UC Davis:

• LOR: Some MBA programs ask for a LOR, with particular exceptions. However, UC Davis strictly doesn’t accept duplicate letters.

• CV: Applicants must submit their CV/ resume showcasing their previous work experience and the projects they worked on.

• Transcripts and degrees: The applicant must provide the university with transcripts of their academics with degree certificates. Similarly, applying for PhD or doctoral program may require a master’s degree and transcripts from all graduate institutions of the applicant.
