Hi, If an aspirant has passed their Class 12 from a recognised board with passing grades, they meet the Tourism and Travel Management eligibility criterion to pursue courses provided at the UG level. Many universities often mention additional qualifying criteria, such as the need that students have completed English as a core subject if they wish to pursue a Travel and Tourism Management course. Yes, candidates must appear for HPU MAT. If the candidate is seeking admission to MBA programme of Himachal Pradesh University Business School, he/she must compulsorily appear for HPU MAT. Admission to HPU Business School will not be granted based on other MBA entrance examination scores. Only candidates who appear for the HPU MAT will be shortlisted for the group discussion and personal interview rounds based on the score obtained.
HPU MAT 2026 exam is expected to be held in second week of June 2026. HPU MAT is conducted across 8 exam cities in Himachal Pradesh. The exam is held in CBT mode.
