Most colleges require that you pass all core subjects before you can successfully apply for a course in higher education. It could also mean that you can apply for a course in B.Sc. Geology provided you clear your examinations before date of commencement. Moreover, if maths is not one of your core subjects, then you can take the best 4 and apply for B.Sc in geology.

After B.Com, yes, you can make a career in Psychology through the options available to you might be limited but there are few colleges which do offer courses in Psychology to students from the Non-Psychology background.
Masters in Counselling, Masters in Psychology(HRDM) are few courses available to non -psychology students in Christ University while other colleges and Universities like TISS also offers courses.
All you need to do is look for the opportunities and give it a try.

Which is better, Idli or Dosa?
Both the courses you mentioned are very different. One is for media aspirants while the other for commerce aspirants. Choose the one which you'll like and are passionate about. Both the courses have several job opportunities in the market.
