You can assist as a barback (bartender's assistant) or server/wait staff at a bar, cafe, or restaurant. While serving these duties you will get to learn bar operations, cleaning, stocking, and basic drink preparations by observing and assisting barteneders.
However, most cafe or bar owners do not ask for the degree or other qualifications but they will seek good grasp on the skillsets required for this job.
