The Carnegie Mellon acceptance rate for Indian students is around 11% which makes admission highly selective at CMU. That means, for every 100 students,  only 11 are admitted to the university. International students are required to meet the minimum GPA and SAT/ ACT is important to get into the university. It is not guaranteed to get admission to the university after meeting the minimum GPA and SAT/ ACT scores. Students can visit the Carnegie Mellon course page to more about the specific requirements according to the program.

Yes, if you are submitting different statements, submit them as one PDF file. Be sure to include a table of contents page. For most applications you can simply upload the new Resume/Statement of Purpose, even if your application has been submitted but before the application deadline. It will override the original one.
